Product Overview

Our 1350 Series Carbon Fiber Slip Shaft is engineered for strength, precision, and reliability under high-performance conditions. Each driveshaft is constructed using 3.75” x .155” carbon fiber tubing, featuring 14 layers of multi-directional weaves for maximum strength and durability. The assembly incorporates a 2024 aluminum bondable yoke shaft and spline sleeve, adapter flange yokes, and NEAPCO Performance 1350 Series solid cross, non-greaseable U-joints.

Every driveshaft is high-speed balanced on our state-of-the-art Coetz Balancer, and a balance report sheet is included with your order for complete transparency. In addition, each shaft is torque-tested in-house to verify bond integrity and ensure optimal performance under high torque loads.
We are one of only three shops in the United States offering in-house torque testing on every carbon fiber driveshaft assembly.


Direct Bolt-In Design

Our 1350 Series driveshaft is a true bolt-in solution that does not require additional adapters. We use precision-machined aluminum adapter flanges from Composite Driveline and/or SONNAX, designed to mate directly with OEM transmission and differential flanges. This eliminates the need for extra parts, simplifying installation and ensuring a perfect fit.  Upgraded hardware is also included.


Key Components

  • Carbon Fiber Tubing (3.81” OD): Manufactured by Composite Drivelines featuring 14 layers of directional weave for superior strength and resilience.  This is a thicker 3.5”ID x .155 wall tubing vs traditional .125 wall tubing.
  • Bondable Yoke Shaft & Spline Sleeve: Made from 2024 aluminum for enhanced durability.
  • Adapter Flanges: Direct bolt-in aluminum flanges from Composite Drivelines and SONNAX—no high-speed CV joints or additional adapters required.
  • U-Joints: NEAPCO Performance 1350 series solid cross, non-greaseable design for maximum strength and longevity.

Installation & Heat Protection

To ensure long-term performance, avoid exposing bonded areas to continuous heat above 250°F. While these temperatures are uncommon beneath most vehicles, we strongly recommend using heat shielding, insulation, or exhaust/header wrap to protect the driveshaft. Failures due to thermal degradation are not covered under warranty.

Before installation, verify all clearances—including driveshaft tunnel, heat shields, exhaust, and shifter linkage—to prevent contact or rubbing. Interference-related damage is also not covered under warranty.

Due to current supply chain challenges, certain components may occasionally be backordered. We will always communicate any changes and offer the option to either proceed with equivalent premium components or wait for the listed parts to become available.
